LEARN AT LUNCH SERIES (FREE EVENT)

Ever wondered what it’s like to live waste free? We’ve all heard the buzz word, but now’s the time to find out what it all means! How can we as individuals make changes in our own lives that will greatly affect the future in a positive way? Are there some things that aren’t recyclable? How can we minimise our impact on the environment?

In this session Gabby will share her experiences of living waste-free for 6 weeks in a bid to change her own impact on the environment and raise much needed funds for Climate for Change.

WITH GABBY MAHER

Gabby Maher is a pilates trainer and gradute of International Development from La Trobe Universty. Since the start of April she has trained to be a Climate Change Conversation facilitator with the Grassroots NGO Climate for Change, lived without creating any waste and raised over $3000 to help continue the NGO’s work. Gabby’s aim is to share her experience of moving out of climate change apathy, to a sense of possibility, as well as some tips, tricks and realisations from living waste-free
